Westridge Quiz Bowl competed at GISH today vs Barr and Walnut. Westridge A team got 1st place and Westridge B team got 3rd place. Westridge A team qualified for the ESU10 Quiz Bowl competition on March 6th in Kearney. Proud of you all!!!

Congratulations to our students who competed in the Hall County Spelling Bee! We are so proud of you!
Written competition:
Adeline Haag got 1st place for 6th grade
Richard Trens got 3rd place for 7th grade
Lian Chan got 1st place for 8th grade and spelled 74 out of the 75 words correct.
Zach Claussen (7th grade) also qualified for the oral round.
Oral competition:
Adeline Haag got 2nd place and Lian Chan got 1st place and qualified for the state spelling bee in Omaha.

Thank you to the GIPS Foundation for supporting our SE staff by adding sensory tools to our classrooms. This grant will make a significant impact on Westridge by assisting students in their learning. Funds for this project were provided through the Classroom Mini-Grant Program of Grand Island Public Schools Foundation.

The "W" will be added to the branding suite for the middle school and most assuredly bring fun energy to posters, apparel, and more.
