Starting January 3rd, 2024, GISH will not allow the use of Personal Electronic Devices, such as cell phones, at school.

What will the new expectations look like?
- From 8:05 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. all cell phones and personal electronic devices must be in backpacks or pockets, out of sight.
- Accommodations will be made for students that require a personal electronic device for medical assistance.
- All changes will be consistent with district Policy 8456.
We have seen at GISH that cell phones, earbuds and other personal electronic devices do not serve a helpful academic purpose. We have a responsibility to respond to the growing issues of cyberbullying and fostering healthy hallways and classrooms.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mr. Gilbertson, GISH Executive Principal, our Assistant Principal, Mr. Hubbard, an Academy Principal, or Academy Counselor. Questions may also be shared by calling the GISH office at 308.385.5950.
"DRESS FOR SUCCESS" - DISTRICT DRESS CODE
