WASMER SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
This summary provides information and results for our school's improvement process. By design, broad improvement goals are established that take several years to fully achieve. All staff help identify and implement a few powerful research-based improvement strategies, which are assessed annually in terms of student learning gains.
Reading/Writing: By May 2019, 85% of Wasmer Elementary students will be reading at or above grade level as measured by the Lexile proficiency bands, district formative assessments, Nebraska State Assessment, and supported by research and best practice.
Problem Solving: By May of 2019, 85% of Wasmer Elementary students will be problem-solving in mathematics at or above grade level as measured by the MAP, NESA, and CPAA supported by research and best practice.
Climate/Culture: All members of the Wasmer community will be responsible for treating themselves and others with respect as measured by Well-Managed School data sweeps, Bucket Slip data and office referrals.
