Skills Academy is a temporary placement to achieve outcomes that: increase students' social and social/emotional skills in a smaller, more structured environment, with an expectation the student will proceed to larger, less structured environments when goals are met; increase productivity and educational achievement to expectations in less restrictive environments; result in all students demonstrating class.

The Skills Academy mission is to promote academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth within a supportive environment based on positive behavior strategies, clear expectations, constructive feedback, and intensive social-emotional learning.
